He Shed/She Shed
WVUE-TV meteorologist David Bernard and Shelby Latino may work closely on-air, but behind-the-scenes, the two have been conspiring against each other and working in secret to create their own personal space as part of a contest in connection with this year’s New Orleans Home & Garden Show, March 11-13, Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
David and Shelby are working with Amy Freese, designer with Doerr Furniture, to create their ultimate designer space that just so happens to be an outdoor shed. Not to give away all the secrets, but show goers will see the two competing sheds during the show, as well as others that are being designed and displayed, in a new fun, new feature this year called “He Shed/She Shed.”
As part of the contest, viewers can go online and vote for which meteorologist they feel has created the better shed. And everyone who votes can register to win a fantastic prize, courtesy of New Orleans Home & Garden Show: A custom $3,800 shed to put in their own backyard as a new living space (winner will get a gift card so he or she can pick just what they want from Sturdy Built Sheds). Contest ends Mar. 10. You can enter here: http://www.fox8live.com/category/310903/new-orleans-home-garden-show-he-shed-she-shed-contest
